... which continues to then get longer again, and we took ourselves off to what Allen Kloeden likes to call "Huff and Puff" classes at the hospital, which made the baby thing real all of a sudden. On a good day the trip to the hospital will take us 15 minutes, on a bad day, well we have heard 6 hr waits on the freeway are not unheard of!!!

... San Bernadino mountains towards San Diego. Climbing back to 5,000ft, we rode some of the best twisters I have ever ridden on. Arriving at our accomodation - Cherokee Lodge, we had time for a quick shower before we headed off to the first of our reunions - a private party for Vietnam Vet SEALs. Distance from Willy's house to Coronado was 1178 miles (1900 kms) in 5 days.

... not only that we were able to do so but that my concerned husband completely agreed. I did not want to miss Joshua Tree and was pretty upset about it, but it turns out that it was a great decision to head towards the coast. Leaving CA and heading for Yuma, AZ. But first a drive over the Coronado Bridge and a walk around Coronado Island. Then a stop in the Kensington neighborhood of San Diego to meet and visit with Dixie, Dave's second cousin, and her husband John. We had a great visit and a nice lunch at Pizza Haven. After we arrived back in SD, our sweet daughter prepared dinner. Lots of healthy food, but tasted great! Then we went took a five minute walk to the beach to watch the sun set.

Tomorrow is our last day in San Diego. Love our condo and the weather, but will not miss the traffic.
