It has been one month since we landed on the west coast, time has flown! The month has been a combination of exploring our island, San Diego and beyond, job lists, shopping lists, unpacking and getting to know new friends. We have been amazed at the generosity and friendliness that has met us and has made our settling in seem too easy. From Susan & Tom next door, to the Moyles & Burrows, thank you.

November 25, Tuesday

Arrived in Corinto Nicaragua at 11:00am and leaves at 4:30pm. My mom then left to go to the airport and back to Atlanta and Taylor, Melba, Breezer and I went to the final dinner that Lauren's parents so generously provided for us. It was a great time; it wasn't too sappy or sentimental (I think we did most of that on the beach, and what we didn't ...

... So the three of us walked around the inside of the Del, looking at the rooms, checking out the stores. It was a happening place, with lots of folks all around dining, shopping, drinking. There was a wedding in the Coronet room, so we couldn’t explore that. Maybe tomorrow. We dropped Josie off with Mac. They were going to help themselves to dinner in the room while we had dinner at Sheerwater once more.
