... big but there are no other car parks close by. The actually have people directing traffic on the main road, along with a couple of police officers.

That was one thing we noticed today. Where ever there is road works or something happening on the road system there is always police present.

... around the world. Waikiki is most famous for its beaches and every room is just two or three blocks away from the sea. The calm waters of Waikiki are also perfect for a surfing lesson.

... sauce with a sliver of papadum on the side. Quite nice, but not exceptional.

Next was a crab bouillabaisse seasoned with saffron and served in a coffee cup. Much more interesting than the first course, the soup was tasty and creamy - more like a bisque than a bouillabaisse. Scratch that comment - I just reached the bottom of the bowl and found all the chunky bits. Nice.

... I found myself staring out to the memorial. After sitting for some time we decided to move on and head back to Waikiki. That night we attended a hula and singing concert on the beachfront.
