We moved into the house on Sunday 12th April. This now feels like an eternity ago! We took the house so quickly, we didn't really have chance to look how clean it was as we knew that if we didn't take it someone else would. ... culture, art, history. Pretty much in that order. Beaches don't do it for me. Nor do posh hotels, spas and hordes of tourists looking for the closest Irish pub, pizza place or expat hangout. Unfamiliarity can be uncomfortable and disorienting for many. Not so for me. The more unfamiliar, exotic, outside-my-comfort-zone a place is the more I will likely want to immerse myself in it. It's addictive. And I get my first hit a week from ...
