... chance they got to punch, beat, kick and start any kind of fight with the Sharks. Typical ice hockey that we have seen and heard about before. Gloves go flying, sticks, helmets and even shirts are torn or thrown off in order to get a better punch in. Crazy.

We've also sampled a lot of the local cuisines and microbreweries. There's a lot of really, really great beer from the microbreweries here. I wasn't really a fan of beer before we came here, but now I know more about ...

... so we could skip all the queues and go straight onto the rides and get priority seating at the shows.

This part of LA is much nicer. There were some nice views from the theme park.
We did the Studio tour first. It goes for an hour and it takes you through TV and movie sets and there are also some rides. We saw desperate housewives set and different props and things used. The King Kong ride was excellent. We had to wear 3 D glasses and King Kong fights dinosaurs beside ...

... a couple of shows, but the most amazing was the Michael Jackson Cirque Du Solei show, it was fantastic. We also did the trip to The Grand Canyon in a helicopter "sunset" trip, also amazing, even had a champagne picnic when we landed in the Canyon.

We were very sorry to have to leave Vegas, but had to move on to our last stop, Anaheim, where we visited Disneyland and Californian Adventure ...

... little idea what to expect apart from a loop-the-loop we were shot from 0 to 85km in 4 seconds and after the initial shock and the stomach lurching drops (up to 33m) I surprisingly enjoyed it. And so did Cilla. So much so that later on we went back again ....and again.... and again! Four times we screamed our way around that 1.8km track and loved every bit, bar the stomach-dropping feeling during the steep descents. But I didn't think I liked rollercoasters!
