... steak dinner. Dom, who is the executive chef for the Houston Astros made a huge pan of Mac n Cheese to go with the steaks and sweet Texas corn. I'm sorry to my Aunty Ruthann, who used to be the reigning Mac n Cheese champ, but Dom's has barely eeked out ahead. Between the bone-in ribeyes, Dom's Mac n Cheese, the corn, the beers, and good friends it was an awesome night. I owe Tacy a huge debt, and hope that they come back ...

Well, everyone knows about Café Dumond but I thought surely there were copy cats all over New Orleans. We finally found one in Metairie that we could stop at on our way out. I’m so glad we did because when we went downstairs it was pouring raining. (I would have known that if I could have ...

Experienced the full wrath of Houston rush hour as we headed back to our hotel in the 5pm commute. Our 30 minute journey ride into the city was turned into a 90 minute journey home. I have no idea how people can sit in this traffic everyday.
