We had a late start this morning 10:30am so I let Liam wake naturally at around 9am, we went downstairs for breakfast and then met our group to make our way to the Alcatraz landing. We walked a couple of streets to get there. Our ferry was leaving at 11:30am. We managed to get all the kids together for a group shot before boarding our ferry. Today, we got on a bus, the hop on, hop off kind where you can listen to a guide give his spiel on landmarks in the city and get off at any of the 20 stops to explore some more. This guide sounded like a commercial radio announcer. The enthusiasm seemed much less sincere. The photo ops were too quick which is understandable when driving in traffic. ... spring rolls (we were touring with vegetarians unfortunately) - it was all quite nice, no where near as good as New Orleans, but it was still really good! - the bread was incredible!
