... guide from yesterday had given us some tips on where to go to get the best views, and it was amazing. We got off near to the main tourist area, and strolled to an area nearby to get the best view of the Golden Gate (the bay by the bridge), and the bridge itself. It was about 4:30pm, a little before sunset and the light in the bay was beautiful. We then of course walked along the bridge. ... to park in). We eventually found where we needed to be and headed up the pier for a look-see. Santa Cruz had a lovely feel about it. We bought the obligatory souvenir pennies and fridge magnet and Evan also bought a cap to replace the one he has left behind somewhere. We saw some more seals and were able to get within a couple of metres of them. This was the highlight for Tilda. As we were walking back to the car we noticed there was some filming going on on the beach below ...

... lunch, near the Wharf - an absolute tourist madness melting pot of bum bags, buskers & homeless people. We took a bus to the Ferry building - from one crazy busy place to another. It was kind of like Vic market, lots of fresh fruit & ****** cheese & spices. Everywhere had homemade lemonade, natural juices, organic water...what a bloody mission to find a coke! Walking back home over the hill we encountered a Hen's night on bikes. Given that most of the 'leisure' bike ...
