... Barn. They agreed with the choice of the lot, except for the part about the duck hook drives, but guess we will take the chance. Thursday night, took Mom and Aunt Alice to dinner at our favorite BarBQ restaurant, Richard's, in Salisbury. The ladies love Rummikub, so our evening ended with 2 1/2 hours of the game. Luckily, I managed to win one game. They are SO competitive! Up early Saturday morning to leave for South Haven.
What a gorgeous day in Charlotte, NC! It was 72 and sunny with a light breeze. Our first adventure of the day took us to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, which was really cool. We had no idea how big the place was and were really disappointed we only had two hours to spend there. We were only able to see about half of the exhibits and went through two simulators. Our camp site is just outside the speedway so Ed and Maggie enjoyed taking a selfie under the entrance sign, while I sat down in a zero gravity chair at the campsite to work on this blog post.
