... else nearby. Passed a swanky looking place, were ushered in by the doorman at the hotel next door and we looked at the menu. Prices much cheaper than we expected. Had a lovely meal - bison burger followed by home made apple crumble with cinnamon icecream. It was so nice to have table cloth and cloth napkins and a pleasant atmosphere. The Cafe Deluxe at the Hilton Garden Inn at West End was a wonderful find and topped off our stay in Washington DC

Hello from the Greyhound bus on the way to Philadelphia! We've had a great couple of days in Washington and are currently sat somewhere on the highway on a brand new, air conditioned bus with wifi; and all for the grand price of $15! Wednesday saw us getting the plane up to Washington from Orlando. We braved the bus system of Orlando to the airport with our bags in tow, which wasn't particularly practical on a packed bus.
