... a good sized bird flying nearby and tried to figure out what it was. Kinda looked like a pelican, but was too small and had no pouch. There were quite a few of these birds pacing the ship along with the seagulls. There were so many cargo ships (I counted 19 within sight at one time) and even the Colonel, a paddlewheel that passed VERY close to us.

Annette sat down in a lounge chair and when she glanced to the side saw a very funny little bird ...

... br> Lunch: Goode’s Barbecue for Texas style barbecue (brisket). Yum-yum! Brisket, cole slaw, Texas toast with jalapeņos, and beans. Jim had pinto beans with jalapeņos while Barbara had Austin style baked beans (beans, pork belly, pieces of brisket, red bell peppers, onions and apples-what a surprise). Both were delicious.

Next we thought we’d shop at the Galleria Mall. Big mistake! ...

... have been retired. America has partnerships with many countries including Russia for space explorations. There was also Space X equipment there. Next stop was some rockets that we could walk around. The best was the Saturn 5 rocket that was lying on its side. It took 5+ minutes to walk the length and back. It’s a really big rocket. We are entering the Main Rhine Danube canal which links the North Sea with the Black Sea. We will descend 243 feet through 3 locks in order to cross the continental divide. Pope Benedict, last pope, was from Regensburg. Founded in 179 AD. Village of approx 150,000 people. BMW factory is here. 6000 roman soldiers were stationed here. Everything north was barbarians. Barbarians. Crossed river and inhabited Regensburg. It became capital of Babaria. No bombing during World War ...
