I went out for a walk at 7am and it rained the whole time. It was a hive of activity at the Esplanade as there is an ironman challenge on this weekend and the kids race was this morning. I stopped at Woolworths on the way back but it didn't open until 8 so I went back to the hotel for breakfast.

... it was overcast, the view wasn't all that great but still nice. It rained off and on all day but still very warm. We travelled back to Mareeba and our camp. I got John to get out the washing machine and I did the washing. It was sun shining when I started the washing but it stated to rain so I hung it up under the awning. ... no longer able to resist the urge to scratch and made a huge mess of my legs.
I tried all sorts of remedies including Hydro-cortisone cream and Stingose to no avail.
Any heat for example the sun, caused me to rip at my legs.
I even considered sandpaper at one stage.
The itch lasted for about six days and by that time I looked like someone with a severe infection of Pox...
