... storms. Once we got back to our hostel we met the girls in our 8 bed dorm, 2 from high barnet and 2 from Canada, not sure about the others! Us 6 went to dinner together where they advised us a lot on Australia, mainly what's worth a visit! ... largely unrelated to the actual attraction in any way at all... For example when we went to the aquarium in Singapore, the gift shop at the end was selling lions and bears (not real ones) and I just thought who, after spending a couple of hours looking at fish, is going in there looking for a lion?! Or a plastic Eiffel Tower for that matter... I don't get them. It's like going into an electrical shop to buy a nice new fridge and being sold a cat or something - no other shops would ...

... we put that down to the fact that the plane was run on rubber bands! Well this is a shock to the system very overcast, drizzling and 14 degrees, let's hope the next two weeks improve!
