A day of supagolf and shopping in Perth was all I could fit in but I had an awesome time, relaxing in the hills before the mental ness of Asia. And there you have it. A condensed version of events from my East coast trip. ... day out which ended by us seeing a couple of wild cassowaries crossing the road just before we caught the ferry back across the Daintree)

We also visited Port Douglas , the Mossman Gorge (a fantastic place next to a wild river in a tropical forest - it is run by the local aborigine tribe)

Wonga beach is a great caravan park having its own resident pheasants and other bird life and is on the beach where you can walk north to the Daintree ...
