Wow, it's October! That came suddenly!
I got up super early and took off on my
bike at 6.00. I was determined to do a good ole bike up to the
Lookout at Mount Coot-tha. It took me 40 minutes to get to the summit
and it was not as hard as I imagined it would be the second time
around. There were so many cyclists, though! The road was pretty much
absent for cars, but a steady stream of bikers coasted down the hill,
quietly whirring, while an ant line of ...

A full day of exploring ahead started energetically for Gemma and much the opposite for myself. I decided to catch man flu/cold/be a bit sniffly so had a little lie in whilst Gemma took the opportunity to go for a run. A lemsip in the meantime made me feel much more alive, and with Gemma's return, as did a breakfast of egg, bacon and muffins. We prepared some sausage sandwiches to take with us on our walking tour of the city, as suggested by Lonely Planet. First up we took ...

... for her to tell me these things for a quality
experience. Amen, sister. We cheerily said goodbye and I collected my
things. I decided to stay longer after work to wander around any
places I had not seen. There is an elevated boardwalk over Chicky the
cassowary's enclosure that leads from the kiosk to the outdoor

Went over it and saw the wombats again,
then looped into the barn area and out onto the other part of the
          macropod reserve where ...

Im leaving on a jet planes

... We are leaving 3 and a half hours before the flight because there will be a lot to deal with when it comes to checking in. After what seems like ages I was finally free from my luggage and went to get something to eat.

The flight was long and I feel asleep only to be working by the captain’s voice saying we are about to land. I got off the plane and there was a taxi already there waiting for ...

... pretty busy for early morning. I stayed till about 4 oclock then I got back on the Greyhound bus to travel to my next destination Noosa where I stayed the night before heading to Rainbow Beach. It just means I have to do it again ...
