... on my hike, I will grab a bite to eat for breakfast.

I will also get my water backpack ready. The water backpack is quite handy as it frees my hands from having to carry a water bottle. I am so happy that we bough this handy device off of ebay.

Joanne has decided to stay at the cottage and rest today. She is not feeling good. ;( Hopefully, with some R and R, she will feel better soon.

        Cheers for now... ...

Hopped up early and caught a flight with Nature Air out of San Jose to Nosara. The flight was literally 35 minutes. Definitely worth the Hundred dollar plane ticket to not have to do a three hour drive. Landed in Nosara and Had My by buddy David with harbor Reef Quad rentals scoop me up at the airport. It was almost as if we were flying private for the mere fact that there was 7 of us on the plane and they pop the Hatch and your good to ...

We got back to the shop and helped wash all of the stuff and I managed to slip over and cut up all of my leg. By this point I was just getting totally ****** off with the ridiculousness of my day when I got Tom to spray my cut gently to get the dirt off but he accidentally sprayed me really hard, which hurt, and then soaked me. I give up on today! I finished nearly on time and went home ...

        ... today.
The boys and Jon were naturals and surfed most of the afternoon while Karen and I took pictures and frocklicked in the waves. Thankfully Karen was there to rescue me when a particularly big wave threatened to take my bathing suit top away with was a bit of a giggle!!

That evening we headed to "The Gilded Iguana" for supper. They had a local band playing background tunes and the place was hopping. ...

... a bus out to our next hiking trip so we had a chill out day. Then we went off on a hike up Barva Volcano the next day. We hadn’t realized how far away the bus would drop us off and after hiking for what seemed like hours we took a lift for a little way from some people driving up the hill, then continued with the long hike up. The views on the way up over San Jose were really cool. At the top though (2906 meters high), it was far too cloudy to ...
