Another sunny day and perfect market day weather .Ken & Dee took as out to Eumundi for a look around the market .... they have done the market many times so they left us to it and we met them half way through for a coffee. We were mainly looking for a Cajon for me and Leigh was just happy to shop along as we searched . Found some awesome handmade cigar box guitars ( see one of the photos ) ...
... a small town and no where to camp! We headed Into the Cooloola national park with the hope of finding a conservation camp site that was listed, however after driving around for a while through the national park it was proving elusive. We eventually found it though, it was hidden right in the national park right on a huge lake. Great views, great weather, wild kangaroos all in the fields around us, Little ducks that Emma had made ...

Kathryn and I have both ruefully observed how the kids have taken to the Aussie way of life. Will we find ourselves abandoned in our dotage by our children as they emigrate down-under to work as surf-instructors? Does that matter? So long as they provide first-class return tickets regularly....
... 8217;t know about this hostel, probably because it wasn’t on Hostelworld. The staff kindly booked us into a dorm room to ourselves so we paid dorm prices but essentially had a private room.
In the evening we walked down to an Indian restaurant and had our first curry in quite some time. The dal was delicious, the spinach curry not quite as nice. We returned fat and content to the hostel for sleep.

unit with a load of Northerners, a Canadian and a Brazilian. All
were nice and with the rain we ended up chatting to them quite a lot
and spending the evening in. Not wanting to miss all of Noosa and
with free hire and a break in the rain, Paul and the Brazilian went
to catch some waves on Sunshine beach. Hmmmmm, the rain may have held
off but the sea was immense; chopping everywhere and they lasted
