... odds and ends all hand made. Then went to Silkstone to see Targets dad Boydie and the boxer family. Had. Few more laughs and then back to Tankersley Manor where we met up with Margaret and Robert for dinner. Weather is terrible cold and wet and forecasting snow for tomorrow . Barnsley is a pretty place with lots of gardens and as it is spring tulips and daffodils sway gently in the cold winds everywhere ...

... stop we then went to Kay's where we will be staying for the next 5 months. It was only a brief introduction as we dropped off our luggage and went to the pub for lunch. The folk at the pub looked a bit rough but the meals weren't too bad and they were fairly cheap. After lunch we went back to Kay's to unpack our bags and get ourselves settled in. It was a little bit emotional as the realisation of this is going to be our home for the next five months sank in. ...

... many laughs and good times. She had taught me a lot, the biggest lesson…don’t get your bag stolen!! After she left I sat in the hotel room, all by myself and was a little nervous…can I do this? I guess tomorrow will be my first test. I went and got my last tesco meal deal, ate in the hotel room while watching a tv episode on my computer and tried to go to sleep.
