      Nothing is perfect

... an up and coming neighborhood. But there is a run down apartment bldg/motel that backs up to this property and I am not comfortable buying a house that would be empty much of the time in a rather mixed area. My guess is that this area will continue to improve and this property will increase in value. If we were younger and looking to invest for the future this would be a good bet. But we are looking for a place to use in the winter and leave for long periods of time. ...

So far I've covered a wooden letter C with shells, made a picture frame for all 4 kids and built a tree with shells. And there are still plenty of shells left. Who's ever heard of Busch Gardens? It's an hour away from Orlando, near Tampa in fact, and doesn't have the brand or prestige of Disney or Universal but it has two of the best roller coasters we came across. It presents itself as a combination of theme park and zoo, with a large area given over to African 'savannah'. It was neat to see giraffes galloping along with plenty of space; we weren't ...

... area in St. Petersburg is really pretty -- great for walking around and it was, of course, a gorgeous day.

Pass-a-Grille is an area of St. Pete Beach that sounded really cute, so when we saw an ad for a holiday lighted boat parade we decided to check it out. We walked the 3.5 miles there and planned to take the shuttle back. We went for a drink before the parade and ended up in a Baltimore bar! That was pretty cool. When we left, we realized the parade ...
