... cyclone season which meant we were witness to some fabulously strange storm formations but as we left the tropics behind us the temperatures started to cool a smidgen. I say smidgen as poor Barry is still having to chuck out Air Con for us during the day then have his battery eaten up with our mini clip on fan at night!

... hold the Koala. I got to hold the koala for about 15 minutes which was more than long enough as it was very heavy, especially in the blistering heat. I really enjoyed holding the Koala, even if it did dig its claws into my back and poop on me. Though I was surprised that it wasn’t as soft as I had imagined it would be, slightly more coarse than it was fluffy.

We woke just after 8 this morning, freshened up and began to pack the tent up. The cars that were blocking us in had moved early so we made a start packing up so we could get off back to Coolum.
