... soon!!! Up very early to take the car to the collection point by 8am for it to begin it's journey back to sunny Melbourne!!! We were lucky to share a taxi back to our accommodation but were still absolutely drenched. The evening final celebration venue was flooded out and so moved to another venue where we enjoyed a lovely evening. Car 167 raised $25,250 for Variety.

All refreshed we head back to Takura as now the grinding in the rear is getting worse. While we are here the rear brakes, were duly replaced.
Once again we helped the guys around the property and had the usual Tuesday lunch and generally had fun.

trekked off in the direction the hostel lady had sent us. I guess she
was confusing the long walk for another, as after 20minutes walking
along gravel and dirt path we hit a dead end mini water fall. Oh
well, it was a nice walk anyway and it meant we could then spend the
rest of the day relaxing in Airlie's 'lagoon'; a lovely pool ...

... were very grateful, but I think we're done with that experiment. They were nice guys and they said thanks a lot, but essentially they were just freeloading. Obviously, this was clear from the outset, but this helped us to clarify how we felt about it - fun as a one off, but not again.
