    ... in the island: hostels, shops and cafes and only 50 people live there permanently. We weren't the only ones on the island either, many tourists and locals hire out 4x4's and go driving on the beaches for a day. Not a bad place for a day trip!     Great to be back with Jen and Simon and see them living in their house. Two years ago approx we were here and helped for a couple of weeks as they built their house.     ... super friendly guys age 16-40 all playing pokemon together and having very in-depth conversations about pokemon. It was then I realised I have a rather strange hobby and that is listening to conversation I don't get at all, let it be a convo in Swedish or one about pokemon. And no, I'm not kidding.     ... along the beach, but Sal, Steve, the kids and I climbed up the Sandblow from the beach. Well, what a surprise – after me talking up this spectacle, I was amazed to find that it is now only about the size of what it was 2 years ago. If I hadn't seen it for myself, I would not have believed it.

    Back to our cars, we then travelled on for just over an hour to Noosa where we are staying for 3 nights.
