... waited for them to leave before we pulled in to the sight. The plus side, we had a night cheap and were the lucky ones allowed to stay, on the downside the place was full of mossies. I stepped out of the car and was literally attacked. Both Matty and I were bitten to death. Just when I thought I'd seen the last of my bites! Friday Today we decided to spend the whole day at the beach. We found some free parking and settled on the beach. It was a ...

Packing up once again with Dot Cotton in toe (checkered plastic woven laundry bag… yes Ethel and Albert went shopping in Brisbane!) we headed off to the Jucy car rentals to pick up our El Cheapo… it’s exactly what it says on the tin! I caught the bus to the airport and got back ...

... extremely unorganized (I also found out I need a small backpack, which I don't have) and like I'm constantly running late (which is quite an unusual feeling in this situation). Luckely I went on a extremely nice (short) free-tour, organized by my hostel where we walked to some spots with amazing views to watch the sunset and went sandboarding (which is pretty awsome), which sort of made things better. I took some rubbish that was laying around, encouraged to do so by a woman ...

... and Sunshine beach area, hige expanse of sandy beaches.

We've decided to stay an extra night to explore these tomorrow. With the G20 summit this week people are getting out the city, being Sunday it is very busy.

We spent a quiet chill out day with Luke at our apartment. Catching up with the last 7 months. Ending with a few beers over dinner. Dropping him back at the backpackers hostal we caught up with Richard and their new mate Dave.
