... been here before on prior trips. The iced coffee
was to die for, you added you own amount of coffee syrup from a little jug. Rest
of it was milk and ice-cream.

Also spotted a cool split window Vw kombi, which we had
counted before, but this time managed to put it on film. Nice paint job.

As I sit here on our balcony I recall the many kombis we had
seen as well as the mystery cars, so I hope you had as much fun as we did! J

G'Day mate - we have finally touched down in Australia and have to say it was love at first sight. We landed early morning in Brisbane and made our way directly to Noosa, a stunning town surrounded by beautiful turquoise waters, whether it is the sea, a river, lake or creek. Noosa is an upmarket, sophisticated small town and its amazing to observe how ...

It's amazing at the creek as soon as you take two steps a whole heap of moths come off the forest floor and all you can see is a brown haze. lily says she swallowed a moth but I'm not sure I believe her. We went back to the house for pikelets and cream. It was 12:00 and the Gibsons had to ahead back to Gladstone, so we said our goodbyes and they were off! Basically for 2 ...

After breakfast this morning we set off on a long walk to Noosa National Park. The main aim of the expedition was to try and spot a koala in the wild.... We did find a bit of other local wildlife en route (pictures below) but unfortunately no koalas. Apparently one had been spotted a little earlier along the track we took, sadly he was hiding from us!!
To console ourselves we stopped off for an ...

... it was lovely! (A little taste of home) Shortly afterwards we headed into Tewantin and to Noosa Marina where there was a Sunday market being held! It was pretty cool, about 20 stalls all selling quirky gifts. It was absolutely scorching by this point!! There were some beautiful looking restaurants along the marina that we liked the look of too, we will definitely ...
