      Beautiful Noosa and Mon Repos

      ... board with me as the mini point breaks were gorgeous and perfect for long boarding.  More chill time on the beach and then we were on our way to Mon Repos, to hopefully see turtles hatching on the beach.  We weren't disappointed, we got to see a clutch of baby loggerhead turtles hatching on the beach and making their way to the sea to start their life (though only about 1 in 1000 make it to breeding age), and we even got to hold 2, literally the cutest little things ...

      ... it was time to board the bus to head back to Noosa. It was a very bumpy ride but once we reached the shore it was miles of smooth sand on a low tide which meant a relatively short trip back to the connection ferry (by short I mean at least an hour!).       We left Bundaberg on Wednesday 17th, the weather remains beautiful. We were not prepared for the amount of traffic on the Bruce Highway heading south. It was very heavy, although I must say the state of the highway has improved since last year which made traveling a little easier.
