... had passed through Brisbane we stopped in Redcliffe for lunch and tried to arrange a place near Noosa to stay for the night. It was gonna be difficult as Christmas is the busiest time of the year along the Gold and Sunshine Coast.
Even Camping Grounds are full at this time. Mostly it gets really busy from boxing day to just after new years, so we still had a chance.
We rang up a place on the north shore of Noosa and found a spot for two nights.

Hit the zoo early and experienced the unfamiliar strange animals of Australia. The wombat was weird, looks like a dog sized hamster. Watched the main show in the crocoseum hosted by the Irwin family, making an appearance despite being invited to lunch with the Royal will and Kate that morning.
