... journey to Wattle Gully for the farmstay. It's in a really remote area and we had to travel through the forest in gravelled narrow road to get there; and at night where the road, or gravel, are almost pitch dark. The terrain is quite rough too. There were steep slopes up and down plus sharp turns and we had to slow down to navigate through safely. Didn't realised that the path recommended by google maps brought us through such terrain. If ...

We've decided to stay an extra night to explore these tomorrow. With the G20 summit this week people are getting out the city, being Sunday it is very busy.

We spent a quiet chill out day with Luke at our apartment. Catching up with the last 7 months. Ending with a few beers over dinner. Dropping him back at the backpackers hostal we caught up with Richard and their new mate Dave.

... lower and lower in the western sky. Our paddle ended just over 2 hours after pushing off, with tired arms and sore hands. We will sleep well tonight! As a postscript to last night, we enjoyed a great French meal not far from where we are staying in Noosaville, at French Sin. To cap off a great meal and an enjoyable evening, the waiter, followed by the chef, handed us 5 loaves of bread as we were leaving - a couple of sourdoughs and a ...

... An ex.. Mandy had moved there some years ago so thought it would be good to go take a look. Again this proved a little difficult as I missed the off ramp to the sunshine highway... So had to do some cleaver side tracking to get back on track. When I got to Maroochydore I was surprised. I had envisioned a sleepy little village.. But what met me was never ending.. It was huge. There went the plan of bumping into Mandy in the By this time it was ...
