A great place to stay and is right on the ocean. You can take a nice walk along its private beach. If you like to stay in luxury and want privacy, this resort is ideal !

    Great place, and affordable

    from

My family and I stayed in 202 for a week in late August. The one-bedroom unit had two daybeds for the kids and a private bedroom for mom and dad. And of course a kitchen and dining area. It was newly renovated and spotless. Slightly on the small side, but for the amount of time we spent there, it was just fine. No AC, but with constant ocean breezes and large fans in each room, it was very comfortable (kind of nice, in fact, to not have overly chilled air blowing all the time.) Two pools and a spa were "musts" each evening. Weekly rate was very good ($150/nite including all taxes and fees). We would definitely return.

The Lahaina area is the place to stay, by the way; avoid Kihei unless you really love suburbia and stripmalls.

    Good value and location

    from

We stayed here the first week of June 2004. For the price, location and room, this was an excellent place to stay. Very good hospitality, and we stayed in a pleasant one-bedroom with the sounds of waves crashing all night long - great! Know that the pools are smallish, and you won't want to "beach" at their nearby beach (drive to Napili Bay - 3 min. away). But the relaxing feel and incredible view while sitting in their 104-degree spa can't be beat! Of the condos choices we had in the $150-200-ish range, this was a very satisfying choice.

    Met our expectations and more

    from

We stayed in the 3 bedroom condo and it was great. It was clean, well maintained and there were lots of extra touches to make our stay a little more special. I worried about not having a beach fronting the condo but it was not an issue. The beautiful green grass, outstanding views and lovely pool area made up for no direct beach access. It was much nicer than staying on a windy beach with fine sand blowing everywhere as we encountered in south Maui. Noelani is a wonderful find and the cost is moderate for west Maui. It's location is also perfect for driving to the best beaches, shopping and Lahaina. The management was helpful and booking tours through them worked well for us. If you are looking for a quiet and well maintained condo holiday in Maui try Noelani.

    Honeymoon almost 22 years late.

    from

Our travel agent had booked us with an other condo down the street from Noelani. When I did a little research the reviews were not very good.

So I found Noelani and the reviews sounded good so we book the 3 bedroom and a 1 bedroom (group of 8 adults). The 3 bedroom was number 304 it was great! 304 is light and airy and CLEAN with thick white towels in the bathrooms, the condos came with everything you would need but the food. It has no sand beach but there is a beach less then a 5 min. walk. NOELANI is a very clean well kept and quite resort with a friendly staff. I would not hesitate to stay or recommend NOELANI.

    Nice location

    from

Just returned from Maui. Spent 5 nights at The Westin and 3 nights at Noelani. The best part of the Noelani is the location. We had a one bedroom groundfloor unit looking right out at the ocean. The room could really use some updating, etc. and the bedroom was situated along the walk way and, I felt was lacking privacy. Will I return to the Noelani?

    No.

    Noelani - excellent

    from

I visited the Noelani this summer and it was WONDERFUL! The condo was sparkeling clean and very nicely decorated. The staff was exceptional from greating us with tropical juice on arrival to a friendly and very informative island orientation. The oceanside jacuzzi spa was so relaxing at night. Many honeymooners stay there and I can see why - it is private and romantic with amazing views especially for the $$. It is truly a treasure. I will refer anyone to The Noelani and feel confident they will see what I mean. I will be back!

    Great stay

    from

What a great place. We are a family of 5 with the oldest being 16 and the youngest 10. I couldn't choose a place from all the choices so I relied on a Maui guidebook and the AAA rating to help me choose. At first we thought it was kind of quiet, my 16 year old wanted more action. As the days went on we met most of the people staying there and my kids didn't want to leave. The rooms are very comfortable (we had a two bedroom), the view and proximity to the water is outstanding and the staff were very friendly. I also fretted over not having a sandy beach. Totally overrated!! By the time we visited other beaches and snorkle spots we were ready for grass and a pool, which is right next to the ocean and very beautiful.

    Decent Place

    from

Stayed in a deluxe studio, and while smallish, it did the trick given the amount of time we spent in the room. Great view, but no A/C makes it somewhat warm and there's no maid service for stays less than 6 days. Not a great place, not a bad place, which is ok given the price...

    Noelani Staff

    from

The condo was beautiful, location perfect, but the staff was very rude.

We were called at 7:30 pm to be quiet. We were having birthday cake with family members, no loud music, or excessive noise. The next night a message was left on the phone that if we didn't get quiet they would help us move out. We weren't even there that evening! When we tried to discuss it with the personnel they were rude and unapologetic. It was not a pleasant stay.

    Great place to mellow out.

    from

Nice place, one building is direct ocean front, the other (with studio units) is by the pool. All have views of the ocean. Close to Lahaina and all the activities there. Beautiful view of Molokai and Lanai from your balcony. Quiet, well kept grounds. Limited parking however. I heard from other vacationers there that the units can vary greatly in their furnishings, my unit (a one bedroom) was very nicely furnished, complete with washer/dryer and dishwasher. I highly recommend and will stay there again.

After landing in Maui, we headed to Iao Valley National Park, from the Kahului airport. We had rented a car from the airport which we had booked beforehand online. Iao Valley is a very pretty place. The drive is very scenic. If you like to hike, it has a hiking trail along the side of the valley.

... had a whopping great 'shave ice' which he destroyed in short order. We had dinner at Kool Cats after a near terminal wait. It's a grubby but suitable family restaurant. I had the Bottle Rocker burger which, I'm certain, means ominous things for my colon or Mel's sinuses (or both). It had jalapeño poppers as a topper. We'll likely return to Lahaina for some more intensive shopping. We got home at around 9:00pm. I'm ...

We lose a fair bit of the traffic here, but there is still plenty going both ways. We stop for a look where the road gets down close to the sea, then carry on around the bottom of Haleakala volcano, with the land ...

All four of us went to the Princess Theatre where a comedian was performing – he was funny in some parts and a bit flat in other parts !! Go figure !!

We called into Facets to say “Hi” to the girls, chatted for a while and then hit the sack !!

... What is very different though is the prices - we are absolutely shocked by the price of food - approx double what it is on the mainland. Some claim that this is due to the Jones act 1920 which states that all ships between us states are manned, built, owned and flagged by Americans which greatly inflates the shipping costs. So much for free trade!
