... some birthday shopping for Elyse and Sean, then got some bargains for myself. I found it weird looking for size twelve clothing. On the way back we went to Jupiters, had some lunch and lost some money on the pokies.

We only have two days left here before going to Woodgate which is over four hundred kilometers north. The weather is showers for the next week which will effect the Bowls Championship that is being held here for the next fortnight.

Finally we spent our last evening enjoying a fine meal with my brother at Hilton's Salt Grill (A Luke Mangon Restaurant) in Surfers Paradise. It was very nice and refreshing catch up but one evening was really too short.

Heading south now... away from overwhelming civilisation to enjoy the last couple of months living the dream!

Pacific Fair

A travel blog entry by maxcowburn on Oct 16, 2014

On Thursday we went to Pacific Fair, a big shopping centre. The first shop we went into was Myer and apparently that was the biggest Myer in Australia. The next shop we went to was Rebel and I bought a pair of basketball shoes that looked cool. After we had lunch we found Krispy Kreme's and ate a lot of them. We decided to walk back to the hotel which was over 6km away. That night we went to Jupiters and ate from the buffet. We ate heaps so it was lucky we had done some ...
