... more than a 5 minute walk. Excellent water sport area. We saw our second Monk Seal lying on the beach. There was one there the first day we arrived, but I didn’t have my camera that time. Kauai was a wonderful chance for us to do a final recharge before returning to NYC. We really enjoyed our time in Hanalei. The town itself is very warm and welcoming and we look forward to returning.
