Today was our last day in Kauai. Went for a lovely run this morning along Lawai Road and watched the sun rise.

Noah woke with cough and weather not great so had a lazy morning inside. Kids played with lego and I finished my book, first one in 4.5 years...good sign.

Headed to the Spouting Horn blow holes in the afternoon. Very nice …

Another lazy day soaking up the relaxed Hawaiian life.

We snacked on poke and enjoyed a margarita at a pool-side shack, then headed down to the beach to walk along the beach-front path that borders the hotel. There are wood ...

      ... quesadilla.

After breakfast we wanted to get to the beach for a day of relaxation, so we headed towards Poipu Beach Park. The park starts with a flat grassy area that stretches about a city block wide and 100 feet long, then lightly descends to the sandy beach below. The beach is set in a cove, but with a crescent-shaped rocky reef on the east side of the cove providing even more protection to the cove and a sand jetty on the west ...
