... in the dark I was blessed with a torrential downpour. Luckily I wasn't lost for long, turns out it is not apparent to a tired traveler arriving in Amsterdam that the street names are up high and on buildings, not posts. This was a discovery I only made this morning.

Today I did a city bike tour travelling all over the city by bike was great. Our guide was pretty funny, with some good jokes and of course poking fun at the few Germans that were in group. I learned that ...

Liam could then try his normal Dr Dolittle thing in talking to them, but they must only know Dutch. Just further on was a large playground with rope section, so up both went to shed their fidgets and get some rose in their cheeks from moving around versus the chilly air. It hadn't hit 10 ...

Through Wales,Yorkshire ,Cumbria to Northumberland

... cottage there or stay at the hotel for some ridiculous price. It is in a lovely coastal estuary bay so looks very pretty. They have a Portmeirion seconds china shop and also another one at Porthmadog. Very tempting but I bought nothing! We only have to cart it around for the next 3 months then pay extra baggage to bring it home . we are not even buying any guide books for any of the places we are going and that is challenging. It is taking a bit of discipline to walk ...
