    ... 6 miles and dropped anchor in Prklog which was a lovely long inlet totally protected with just one other boat. It felt like we could have been in a Swiss forest some where as there were so many tall pine trees. Needless to say storms arrived after midnight and we find ourselves playing scrabble at 4am in the morning ...

    Another day of great riding, lots of fast bends, good road surfaces, marvellous scenery, interesting villages, good coffee and lots of traffic to use as mobile bollards. First a short ferry ride back to the mainland where a strong bora sidewind added some spice to the riding. Parts of the coastline were similar to riding Lake Como with classical style hotels, upmarket restaurants and marinas, while other parts were untamed ...

    ... almost as much of a challenge as finding accommodations the previous night. After driving for more than an hour and making numerous stops along the way to ask if restaurants had wifi, we finally found a cafe in Labin and booked an accommodation for tonight.

    ... to the top of the church tower and took some great pictures. The view was a bit better from up there, but we were happy to enjoy some shade instead.
