I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport on my 8 hour layover, drinking a cold beer and reflecting on the last 10 years. This trip is far and beyond anything I've ever done before, and it is really exciting. Especially since I still don't have half of it planned yet!

There were close to 900 delegates representing chapters from every state in the union except Delaware and Louisiana at this 6th International Conference. (A Louisiana chapter may be imminent.) ... The sun was just ready to drop over the horizon and I didn’t get a very good shot of the sun as it did. It looked really huge as it went down and I was bummed to have missed the shot.

... We found some plugs closer to the main building but still no WIFI. Eventually other people came and filled the wasteland as time got closer to our boarding call. Then there was an announcement that as it was a small plane some allowable size carry on luggage would not fit in the over head lockers and had to be checked and carried in the hold.
