The rain was setting in a bit now so we chose to drag ourselves back to fisherman's wharf to see the seals on pier 39 then on to our hotel and work out what we were going to do about dinner. I had read on the Internet about one of the top rated little seafood restaurants in San Fran so we headed out on a bus to find it, with the help of google we arrived at this lovely little place only to find there wasn't enough room for us ...

... aesthetically pleasing experience. With a stop on the beaches of Santa Barbara providing an awesome view of what the West Coast has to offer, it was Abbie's turn to take the reigns of our wonderful Nissan and find us accomodation for the night. After stopping at roughly a dozen motels and hotels, to be told "no vacancy" by all of them we eventually stumbled onto a tucked away and entirely quaint Bed and Breakfast. Here we were lavished with a delightful room, cheese ...

... today is the cool wedged-in house that is across the street from CJ's place.

There were a few other friends there and we played a board-type game called Burn Rate. Essentially 4 players try to lose money the slowest in their attempt to develop and market a dot-com idea.

The "Bad Ideas" were based on very real ideas ... that didn't make it. Things like Surgeon General Online Medical Advice, Butler-Hosted Search ...
