... a beach day and we went out in the evening for a cool dinner in a restaurant that is on the beach and one can look at the waves from the table.
Today is my last day here in San Diego and we're on our way to San Francisco early tomorrow morning for the last week of this amazing trip I'm on.
Family, love you guys and I hope to see the rest of the family early next year!

... lizards who would jump out of the way and scurry across the rocks only to dive behind one out of sight. Birds were singing their lovely tune hopping along the rocks and flying between them and the few shrubs along the way. Harris ground squirrels popped out seemingly from no where, startling me and making me jump...which wasn't a good thing on the face of a mountainside! ... Let's see... If in San Diego, you MUST get Mexican food, it is actually quite difficult to avoid, but it is pretty tasty and not too unhealthy.

You also have to try the Slater's 50/50 burger. 50% beef and 50% bacon! OMG!

N (of L&N) makes the best Guacamole, but you probably won't get the chance to have that unless you know them as well...

... to last around 35 mins and would help us get our bearings around the park. Despite the damp weather, we sat upstairs on the open top bus. Just as that, the rain started! :-( oh well, we had come armed with our Pac-a-Macs so we were sorted! The zoo was fantastic, really getting close to the elephants, pandas, koalas, gorillas and snakes. Not sure how I felt about seeing the snakes eating large rats during feeding time, we couldn't stop ...
