Picked up hire car and took the freeway from Los Angeles to San Diego. Journey took about 3 hours, so not too long a trip. We managed to find the road that the apartment was on without too much trouble, but finding the actual apartment was a little bit tricky. Eventually, managed to work out all the locks and combinations, for the underground parking door, the key to operate the elevator, the key for the apartment gated door, the code to actually open ...

After the bright lights of Las Vegas and after having so much fun we were now back on the road towards LA - sniff sniff, but not without one more stop in San Diego which I was really intrigued by as I have never been, nor knew what to expect. After we arrived back in SD, our sweet daughter prepared dinner. Lots of healthy food, but tasted great! Then we went took a five minute walk to the beach to watch the sun set.

Tomorrow is our last day in San Diego. Love our condo and the weather, but will not miss the traffic.

... they'd climb it if they could!  And you had to watch the birds - apparently they'll snatch the fish out of your hands if you aren't watching.  We had been going to skip the sea lion show as it had already started and there was nowhere to sit, but we stood up at the top and watched.  And we were glad we did.  It was a 'murder mystery' and was quite humourous.  Again - the tricks that these animals are trained to do was ...
