... to Hilo. The flight was very short and surprisingly smooth. Pam and Bill were there to greet us with their big Hawaiian smiles and leis. What a special treat! After picking up a rental car, we followed them to a couple stores so we could top stock up on supplies and then we followed Bill to their wonderful home. It sits on 3 acres and has plenty of space for the two of them and their four dogs. We collaborated on the big spaghetti dish for dinner that ...

All of the above. I have an almost overwhelming urge to just sob...great relief.

... and packed the supplies for today's outing. Mel eventually went for a run too to try and catch a second wind and then we were off to Lahaina. Henry and I were destined for the Sugar Cane Train and Mel and Penny were off to the outlet malls. The ride to Lahaina is pretty cool as you get a great view of some of the surf and surfers. It's wild just now as we approach a full moon. At the Sugar Cane Train, Henry played on the full-sized, decommissioned engine ...

... got hot and went back in the water. A big wave hit me and knocked my glasses off! The trilogy guy helped me search and eventually another guest found them! On the way back to Maui, our boat followed a pod of bottle nose dolphins. Very cool. Since we had a barbecue before we left Lanai, we decided to have hula pie at Kimo's for dinner. Then a little shopping and back to the ...
