Historical Traveler Reviews The Napili Bay Lahaina
Loved the Napili Bay
Absolutley perfect. A quiet little paradise right here. Beautiful beach even more perfect sunrises and sunsets. Would reccomend to one and all
We love Napili for being close to Kannapali and Lahaina. The Napili Bay is nice and quiet, right on the beach. We stayed in unit 218, which is on the end, so its quiet. The owners have recently renovated and the tile work and kitchen are beautiful. We ate breakfast every morning in the unit before heading out to snorkel. There is a nice lanai with a table for two and boogie boards and beach chairs for your use.
Make sure to snorkel around the cove and see the turtles.
I highly recommend staying at Napili, 218.
you can't ask for a better location on maui. i especially like units 208 and 209. they are literally "on the beach" and have all the amenities of home. for your "true" hawaiian vacation, pick napili bay!
Wonderful Vacation in Hawaii
Just a wonderful place to stay.Very peaceful, private and just a beautiful unit with a lovely ocean view from the lanai with the sound and aroma of the ocean waves rolling in..All the kitchen utensils are available for cooking when you want to just hang out ..Grounds are very exotic and well groomed.Just a fabulous sand beach with gorgeous sunsets.A perfect play area for all that enjoy the water and sunshine and watching for an occasional whale breaching in the distance.Nice picnic area with with gas grills and picnic tables for the gathering of friends and family.Friendly and very helpful staff.Would certanly recommend this resort to any one wanting to stay in Maui.
Napili Bay #201
We loved our stay at this wonderful resort. #201 is a real jewel as is the beach, surf and views. We hope to be back some day.
Napili Bay 217
Napili Bay 218 was a great condo and working with the owner Claudio at Aloha Condos was a great. We loved the condo and its quiet location. Be sure to go snorkeling in the bay. We saw a turtle and much more. The bays just north of here are killer too!! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. :)
Best condo location and rate in Maui! Amazingly close to the best beach!
Napili Bay 217 is a wonderful condo, just steps away from the fabulous Napili Bay and Beach; it met our needs and more for our stay in Maui! The Napili Bay Resort is a very quaint 2 story resort, allowing you to not feel overwhelmed by people or concrete! Condo 217 has a lovely ocean view and is fully equipped and decorated with a tropical Hawaiian theme to match the peaceful gardens outside. Fall asleep at night with the lull of the sounds of the ocean. Being on the 2nd floor, created a more private, quieter and romantic environment than the friends we had staying in one of the other condos on the first floor.
My wife and I celebrated our 15th Anniversary at Napili Bay in August 2003. It was wonderful. The views were amazing. We snorkeled in the bay everyday. We found it better there than at Black Rock. This is a great place if you want to be away from the highrise hotels and loads of people. There can be crowds but nothing like Kaanapali. You fall asleep and awake to the sounds of the waves hitting the beach and the trade winds keep you comfortable, even in August.
Will return every year!
Just returned today from #102 - what a view, what a beach! check out apvacations.com to see what we woke up to every morning! Many vacationers from other high-end resorts came to this lovely hidden spot. The water is great for snorkeling, the beach has a steep shoreline for the boogie borders to slide into (fun to watch), and the resort itself is low-key and perfect for that quiet get-away. You really feel like family and not just a guest. P.S. -hope the newlywed who lost his wedding ring in the water was contacted by the little boy who found it on the shore!!!
A True Aloha Condo Experience
This has been heavenly - we don't want to leave since we know this is as close to heaven on earth as two people can be. We will cherish our memories of "Napili Bay 201" and definitely be back again. Whale watching, rainbows, and early morning walks on the beach are some of our favorite memories of Napili Bay.

... looking for a sign to "Big Beach" (Oneloa Beach) but can't find it, so do a u-turn and return to the State Park, to find this is what we wnted. Walk in a kilometre, with our esky and valuables, to a very impressive golden sand beach, reputed to be the best in Maui, with lots of people and a fibreglass prefabricated Lifeguard post.

She stopped to open a coconut and pour milk from it, but no tastings were given out as there wasn’t enough to share. The train ride took about 45 mins or so and at the end of it, we had a pineapple sampling - really sweet and very nice.

We ate lunch in Kino's on the deck overlooking the sea. Mark had a 'break Da mouth' plate of ribs, teriyaki chicken and coleslaw, I had coconut and peanut crusted fish with courgette and sticky rice. Today is our last full day in Hawaii and Bree and I are trying to make the most out of it. As has become the norm, we wake up to the sun beaming into our room. It truly is blinding and the paper thin curtains provide no obstruction to its sleep interrupting rays. Between the sun and Bree's never ending urge to start the day early, sleeping past 7am has become quite a feat. I mean I've had to fake a sun burn just to sleep until 8am (kidding). We ...
