Its always sad to leave a vacation at the end of the week. We didn't really worry about how the ride down would go, we knew we would be tired but we figured it was the best solution for little miss, the ride home on the other hand scared the living heck out of me. There was no real way to drive overnight this time around. We decided to wake up at 5:00 and head out as early as we could. ...

I cant believe it is already our last day at the beach! This week has gone by way to fast!
Being our last full day, we were out on the beach as soon as we were finished eating breakfast. Another wonderful day of splishing, splashing, sand castle building and running down the beach! ... headed over to Fort Walton to go to the Heritage Park. Hubby is a big history buff, so he was excited to check it out. It encompassed the native American history of the area, the history of the civil war area, and a step back in time to the local school and post office. It was a $5 admission but it got you into 4 different buildings, so definitely worth while in my opinion.
After that we decided to go check out the fishing pier ...
