... another state park in a more densely populated area. Glad we chose this one as it has been restful. The first 3 days we had sunny albeit cold weather. As the cold front began to recede north, it has warmed up into shirtsleeve weather and, in fact, as the storm front built up last night from the south, the temp was 67 this morning when we woke up. Walking outside felt balmy and wet as it rained all night and will rain most of ...

After a grueling five days of driving, it was time to find a nice campground and hang out for a few days. My plan was to stay at the state park on the beach near Destin. ... in time change. I was so thankful that the time change happened on the drive home though and not on the way to Destin as I had originally thought. We also hit a lot of rain to the point where I could hardly see where I was going. It was bad. I was glad to make it home safe and sound after white knuckling the steering wheel for hours.

... and sausage and the best potatoes ever. We tried to eat outside on the patio but then quickly realized the rain was starting to blow sideways and eventually we had to move inside. We then came back to bed. It felt so nice to do NOTHING and have no where to go or any obligation at all to be somewhere or feeling like we were missing anything. For lunch you get a picnic boxed lunch that you order the night before. They also have ...
