Beautiful! It's like an island paradise! Our room is beautiful it's a traditional Thai home within a complex of houses and has a lovely ensuite and outside shower! I've spent the morning lazing in the clubhouse which has a veranda overlooking the sea. I also fell asleep there for over an hour and think a lot of people will have seen as they walk to and from the beach!! So ...

... stop was Krabi, which was just a stopover on our way to Bangkok. In order to get there, we took a tiny, hot bus that we were literally trapped inside. There were so many passengers and so much luggage that there was no way to open a door without everything falling out. As always, super tall Dom was completely smushed into a tiny ball for the duration of the drive. During our short stay in Krabi, we were lucky enough to be close to another fantastic street market! We drove to Phuket from Koh Lanta which took 5 hours. We stayed in an area called Karon, we were close to Patong. We had a lot of pools at our hotel. One night we ate Mexican food, it was pretty hot. Another night the hotel gave us free dinner because they made a mistake with our room. We ate Thai food and it was very nice.
The beach had really big waves. One day I got stuck in a wave and it rolled me over and I got smashed on the sand. I ...

... they'd got back! When we'd dried off we met Cerys and Nathan in our hotel bar for happy hour. They'd already got our drinks in so we had some beers, cocktails and some lovely snacks whilst sitting around taking for ages. It was late by now so we went to change quickly and didn't head out for food until gone 9. We had to sort out or bus ticket for tomorrow on the way but decided to get food first and get them on the way back. We ended up going to the same place as last night ...

It's been awhile, but here are some things that I have been up to since I last wrote in my blog.

Malaysia visa run My 60 day visa is almost up (hard to believe it's already been 60 days), so I had to go on a visa run. You can either go to Myanmar, which takes about 12 total hours and get 30 days, or go to Malaysia and get 90 days, but the trip is 10 hours there, stay 24 hours, then a 10 hour ride back to Phuket. I chose to get the 90 days. The ride ...
