... attractive spots in Pune like Sinhagad Fort, Shaniwad Wada, Agha Khan Palace, Mushil Lake and Pashan Lake. Thelist of tourist attractions in Pune is endless. Therefore, I think it is one of the hot weekend getaways for Goans. This was my third trip with friends, the previous two being Bangalore to Goa and Chennai to Madurai. As usual it was a fun-filled travel experience.

... me against!) we had some bhel... which is a combination of lots of different dried snacks mixed with onion, tomatoes and some sort of tamarind sauce - it was delicious! in the next stall we decided to share a plate of another snack called dahi puri, which are small puris (puffed crispy chapati types) then smothered with similar things - reminded me a bit of an indian version of loaded nachos!

... fort, somewhere Hannah had never been in her 13 years living in Pune! It was build in the mid 1700s and is an example of Marathi architecture. It had some really nice gardens with a fountain that apparently is the centre for a lighter and sound show in the evening.
