They didn't give us a seat allocation as their computer system was down. Then when we were waiting to board the people without a seat allocation were put on standby!!!! Fortunately for them, they put us on our flight! We arrived at our hotel called "350 degrees" at 6.15pm. It's very cool with retro decore. See photos below! Off to bed for a big sleep ...

... curvy roads and get us home. We popped into see Andy and Marco. We sat on the balcony overlooking the beautiful bay and village of Kioni as smells of yummy Greek food and the putt, putting of boats echoed in the distance. We sipped tea and chatted. He's a bit flat having to stay lying down and I think he's still in quite a bit of pain. He rang mum for me and I was able to talk to her, for a few minutes. She sounds way better and is hanging to leave the hospital in Mornington. This afternoon we walked down to the cemetery and ...

At 8.30am on the morning of the 9th August, we left Big Vathi, on Ithaka Island, but first we had to wait until the yacht next to us had left as there was a good chance that he had crossed over our anchor when he arrived the evening before. The winds were quite strong and everyone was finding it a bit tricky to moor up with such strong crosswinds. All was in fact ok, no crossed anchors.

So we set off with full sails up and we were off to Kastos Island. ...

... Chef had left that morning to go to Athens for a week. I was just so disappointed as we had travelled all day to get here...oh well, life goes on.

We ended up having a Meat Feast Pizza on board, playing cards and Connect 4 during the evening. The wind was quite strong, and we were very aware that 'Marlin' was listing at a weird angle due to the extremely strong crosswind. It was still very warm and sunny though, so all was well.
