We had a lovely sleep in and then went for a delicious swim in the crystal clear sea. It's soooo turquoise blue! You can see to the bottom of the water it is so salty and clean! The weather has been amazing 26 degrees. We then wandered into the village and had a lovely coffee. We ordered a Greek salad and saganaki (fried haloumi). God we are just getting so fat! The Greek cheeses are delicious and the beers good too. However, their red wine ...

We awoke to a beautiful sunny morning. We could hear boats putting out of the harbour, roosters crowing, birds singing and the occasional goat bell ringing from the hills above. We awoke this morning to sun streaming in through the blue wooden shutters! We threw open the widows- the little harbour was breathtakingly beautiful. Quite a lot of sailing boats and big keel boats have come in for the night. Flags from numerous countries are fluttering from their masts. It's such a beautiful natural port, that sailors know it's ...

... Stefanos is clearly pleased to see us. Although the forecast is generally for sun, the weather is apparently going to turn nasty for a couple of days leading up to the weekend and so he persuades us to stay in the two suites of rooms just above the no-longer-existing tennis court. These have logia/sitting-room areas and are more comfy if it rains. We'll be fine whatever... it's just so nice to be with Louie. No more blogs for a ...

... We really have the knack of the water buses now and bought a day pass which was very good value. We got off at St Marco Sq and Steve really wanted to go to the Rialto Bridge so we hopped on another water bus and off we went. There were so many people with the same idea so Steve scooted up to the bridge for a look but didn’t stay too long. We had a leisurely lunch beside the canal before going back to St Marco Sq. I did some shopping and Steve went ...
