      ... be
going into power saving mode. BAM, the TV shuts off. I have to sit
down quickly as I feel weak, everyone is yelling and running to the
next room, no it can't be. I am speechless. At exactly the 5 hour
mark the TV was set to turn off. I had just witnessed the work of a
true MASTER, challenged by none. A subtle reminder at 3 hours and a
total power outage at 5 hours. The work of a genius. I slowly enjoy a
handful of chocolate covered nuts or whatever ...

... at home in Myrtle Beach, spending Christmas with my son who’s visiting from Colorado we decide to take a day playing tourist. We hit the wax museum and the aquarium, the alligator farm and Margaritaville. No matter where you are in the world, at some point you’ll have to exit through the gift ...

A first occurred for us at Little River Bridge, a mile before our destination. We were the solitary boat and were about 10 minutes past the bridge's normal hourly opening. I was prepared to patiently circle while we waited for nearly an hour for the next opening. Boaters who know this bridge will be amazed at what happened ...

Our start this rnorning found us aground in the mouth of Jeremy Creek after leaving Leland Oil dock in McClellansville, SC. While this wasn't on our plan it did provide the opportunity to eat a nice breakfast, coming unstuck from the oatmeal-like bottom just as we finished the last of our coffee. From then on the day unfolded as planned, catching the tides just right and hitting all waypoints on schedule. The incoming tide carried us up Winyah Bay and we actually sailed ...

... buffet breakfast all for 55$! What!!! We had a nice clean ocean view room. Chris was getting a cold so it was probably a good plan for as to get the hotel because we pretty much spent the entire afternoon taking naps and watching football and playing videogames. We brought food from our van into the room and had a picnic of sorts. It was nice just spreading out and relaxing. Chris felt much better after getting some good sleep and I enjoyed the warmth. Overall I think it was a good ...
