This was always one of my favorite overnights at Mesa. And I was excited to see that this company stays at the same hotel that Mesa stayed at. It's just a short walk to the beach, about 10 minutes or so. We got to the hotel and the captain and the first officer were going to go across ...

middle sections with the kids holding the bidding numbers so they
could do the bidding when Mom or Dad told them. There were a few
tables just a bit in front of the old guys filled with young ones

    is a quick review ...

... at home in Myrtle Beach, spending Christmas with my son who’s visiting from Colorado we decide to take a day playing tourist. We hit the wax museum and the aquarium, the alligator farm and Margaritaville. I was successful today, no kitsch purchased (though it was close with the “Fins Up” Adirondack chair Christmas ornament!). No matter where you are in the world, at some point you’ll have to exit through the gift ...

... bridge tender called us on 09 VHF and said that traffic was light and he'd be happy to let us pass! Of course, we were thrilled to accept his considerate offer. For any bridge -- and especially this one, with a nasty reputation for its sometimes surly operators -- such considerations are rare. Thank you, kind sir! (Tip of the hat)

Getting to MBYC early provided an opportunity to relax in the cockpit ...
