We slept on the ground in a tent (with no zip) for our second night before departing out of the bushcamp and away from 'Mosquito City' to catch our next bus up to Hervey bay for our next adventure.     ... long black.' Up to this point we were drinking cappuccinos that were closer to watered down latte's. In Australia there are 4 types of coffee you can order. A cappuccino, latte, long black, or flat white. On this particular morning I decided to try a long black and I was so glad I did! This was the strongest coffee I had found in Australia and I really enjoyed it. A long black is as close to coffee back home as I can find. ...

    ... swim in local pool...and that's about all.
    Had a lovely meal in adjoining hotel and bed early as we have to be up at 4am...drop off car and get a 6:30 am flight to Oahu....then a 10:00 am flight to Brisbane...10 hours long!!! Another endurance test!

    ... beach, a cool beached
    shipwreck, coloured sand mounds, wild dingos, eagles and...a python!
    The day seemed to whizz by and we wished, now knowing what a cool
    island this is, that we had rented our own 4x4 and sent a few days
    driving round and camping at the sites dotted around; yet again,
