    ... and the markets didn't take long to become busy. Thousands of people were out enjoying the wonderful atmosphere & sights of the twice weekly markets. They are massive.     ... a bit overwhelmed with all the steps to setting up - very different to MiniWinni where we just pulled up, put the step out and were done! We only travelled about 30kms that afternoon to a free camp Guyra and were pleased to set up in about 12 minutes .... and not one argument either!     ... to over 10 million people in it's city but with it's outlaying suburbs .. the total is over 28 million.. Massive!!
    No wonder the airport is crowded busy and chaotic.. fortunately this traveler had the info ready.. where to find the Tourist Visa desk.. the money ready.. cash on arrival..290,000 rupia or $US 29. immigration is sorted then also..down to collect the luggage.. now that does NOT happen too quickly here.. eventually said suitcase ...
