        The city called Heraklion, or if you like, Iraklio. Two names for the same place. It's the big island. Once treed and lush, it was clear cut for timber to build ships. This is likely to happen after Athens as we are at sea on Friday and Istanbul again on Saturday (very little free wi-fi in Istanbul). I am way behind with photographs.         ... Rome to the Greek Islands of Crete, Mykonos, Santorini, then Athens and Olympia, as well as Kusadasi, Turkey where the famous ruins of Ephesus are located. Turkey is as far east as we would travel, and the farthest east Blake, Rob, and I have ever traveled. Turkey is also considered a part of the Asian continent so we can officially say we've been to 3 continents: North America, Europe, and Asia. Only 4 more to go!! ;)
