We go do a big loop around the marina and on the way back there is a street parade of all the locals dressed up dancing with music and drums and trumpets with their catholic pictures of the Virgin Mary and speaking over loud speakers in Spanish, to which we obviously have no idea what is being said. It was amazing to experience the different culture and see it happening in front of ...

... cool to see different species of fish. As we made our way over to another sea lion island we were on the lookout for whales and flying mantarrays. I never knew that they could jump, but wow, they can actually fly!

The most impressive was a really big one which did a double backwards somersault thing showing us both sides of its body (the flash of white which we had initially mistaken for the blowout of a ...

... the hard part of choosing my Mexi travel buddy we now had to choose a destination in Baja to stay for a week, Cabo San Lucas was the first place to come to mind as my parents had been there and couldn’t stop saying how amazing it was. We also wanted to extend the trip, which we paid extra for, but boy was it worth it! Weeks of back and forth emails, trawling travel websites (thank you Expedia and Trip Adviser) and ear to ear grinning, we had our trip ...
