... with a long wait for our coffees to arrive. We thought they had forgotten, then realised that was normal ! At the mall we managed to cruise through 6 or 10 shops ,exiting with some new rags for our journey! A bitty up the road is Mooloolaba, which morfs into Maroochydore making the two M ‘s easily confused. Highlights here were a walk on the beach , discovering an old bay window kombi , painted up as an ice cream van!!! The heat was immense ...
... br> A little over a year ago we public transported ourselves down to Beaudesert to pickup our Hyundai. We saved nearly $3,000 on the car so we thought that worth while. However it took 7.5 hours by public transport and we were knackered. No way were we going to repeat that little exercise.

... so left at 1 which meant a nice afternoon of films in our little cabin. Even better-I have learnt to cook a little bit! Nan you will be proud. Can now cook chilli and spag bowl on my own, and yes I have got used to eating a little more pasta. What a star. Even better than that the bank have given me back my money-feel richer even though it was mine to begin with!
Friday the 10th
We head up north to check out Birbie Island beach
area and then farther north for lunch to Caloundra an area along the Coral sea
then,,,a Ginger Factory and Macadamian nut factory near Yandina ( the bill board said free but when we got there it was only free to go into the gift shop and store , the factory tour was 25 and the train ride through was 7$. After a few free samples and a look ...
