... mean one thing – THERE ARE COWS AND THEY ARE NOT BEHIND FENCES, THEY COULD POSSIBLY BE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OR WANDERING AIMLESSLY ON THE ROAD!!! Then we saw the cow manure in the middle of the road and lovely-land (Maroochydore) was becoming a distant hope, we weren’t getting out of here alive I was sure of it!

... Another 6am start the day's activities. There is a sand patch at the top of the highest dune in Queensland which we have been told is the most popular thing to do whilst on this trip. We row further into the Everglades for an hour and a half until we reach Camp 3, where the walk begins. It is 6km each way but the way up is a real challenge with the constant uphill climb and high humidity. It took us just under 2 hours to reach the sand patch but it was well ...

I mentioned before about going running and though I haven't run the ocean road yet I have run with Tam twice and her husband Helei is a personal trainer so he has agreed to train me somewhat.
