... is a fine example of a Renaissance palace of the time. In addition to being of interest for its architecture, the building also houses the Bemberg Foundation, which is a major art gallery in the city. Many Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works are housed here amongst many other treasures.

... the bus tour, we walk around a bit in the rain, cos we can, buy some lunch and head back to the hotel to eat. La Rachelle is just beautiful. A seaside/port town with beautiful historical buildings and towers. We happened to be eating our lunch when a parade came past! I just love a good parade. The girls ran off to watch, not realising it would come right past us. So, amongst the crowd that quicjkly gathered Shane tryed to find the girls...hmmm...ah, well, it's not the first time ...
