... of the very difficult songs of "Come on you boys in Green", "Ireland", and "Aiden McGeady" (one Scot slagged Chris, saying "for a country of poets, you sure have **** chants".) I also learned "Fields of Athenry" (which actually has more than six words) which was a great experience. Though I'm not an Irish citizen, I was certainly Irish for that game.

... sing along -Ceilidh - style, which was a fine idea, but the song they wanted us to sing along to was all in Gaelic. Not surprisingly, very few sang. Other than that though it was a really good show.

We boarded the bus back to Stirling, replete with a nice dinner and thoroughly entertained. Arriving for the first night in the new digs at a little after midnight.

Day 2 Saturday
This morning we ventured out into the city, looking for The Great western antiques, as seen on Bargain Hunt. We didn't leave the hotel until 9:15 but there were no cars or people about!! We began to wonder if it was actually 5am or something!

... somewhere to eat. We went to Maggie Dickson's, a pub named after a lady who was hung and survived! On the way we met two Scottish men - one of them was in a kilt! They showed us around different pubs. On our way 'round we picked up an English couple as well as a professional bagpipe player dressed up in his full garb! We were quite the group!
