... Parking is terrible and apparently they patrol the streets like vultures so we were relieved that they had a room and a car park. Up the stairs to inspect a room and it looks ok. Not the same standard as we have been getting but there were only 3 in the book to choose from and the only one with parking and we are only staying 1 night.

Lugged our bags up the million stairs, went to the loo and the toilet doesn't flush! Oh, that's ok, we will get ...

... subway to the other side of town. Glasgow's metro system was incredibly easy to use and served as a great example for Bree's first subway ride! We then decided to stroll through the Botanic Gardens which were absolutely beautiful. Glasgow did a great job of incorporating a wonderful large park into the gardens and there were people enjoying the excellent weather all over the place while we were walking through. After ...

... not to be. Rangers played *****, they were lucky to get a draw and have the chance to play again in the Cup in a few weeks time. The atmosphere in Ibrox was good though with plenty of noise from the fans - way different to the crowds at New Zealand games.

After the match, we walked backed to the hotel before driving to Renfrew to have a meal with David's parents before they flew out to Madeira.

... and then the traffic once we got closer to town we were a half and hour late to meet our friends. Fer was waiting for us where she said she would be and Andrea showed up a little later. Luckily they are super nice girls and were not upset by our tardiness. We all drove back to their apartment and they treated us to pizza (I told you they were super nice).
