... base of it and also tried to get a peek inside the Roger Centre, home to the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball team. Unfortunately we couldn't see much and the gift shop was too expensive so we carried on walking. A nice feature about the stadium is that they have stone fans coming out of the building and gees can be seen in the photos.

... And then she was gone. Mom left while I was checking out without even saying goodbye... *sob*

No, I'm kidding. She said a very brief goodbye, as the shuttle taking her to the airport was leaving and we didn't have time for more than that. It was probably better that way, honestly. We probably would have spent an hour saying goodbye if we were given the time (yes, I'm finally ready to admit that I inherited her gift for gab... *sigh*).

... full of a mixture of emotions, first of all it was a bit of a pessimistic emotion because i knew i had to say my goodbyes to the family in the morning, which did not help being i had to leave at 4am!
