... to arrive last Thurs., but just did not, and now is supposed to arrive tomorrow (Mon. 7/7) (And yes, I did complain), so I've not been kayaking yet. Assuming it arrives tomorrow, I have plans to drive west an hour into the mountains to some natural lakes, Brainard Lakes. There are several reservoirs around here, but I like real lakes whenever possible. There is a river going through Boulder, Boulder Creek, which does get some ww kayaks going down.

... restaurant with a rooftop bar but the weather has turned on us. There is no cover so we sit inside. We order food and talk. Steve is very curious about Australia and I fill him in as best I can. If you've ever talked with me, you know that I'm overdue for an adventure. Ever since my pre-teen years, I've desired to go somewhere whether it's helping someone somewhere or just going for a vacation.
