... River. We saw more elk, next to the road again. On the way back we first saw a huge bull moose lying in the grass near Grand Lake and then two female moose (or mooses?) a little further along. Also, while walking up to Adams Falls at Grand Lake we saw a mother deer and her baby.

This was our final getaway before going to work and it was a good one. We woke up early again at nearly 4 AM and caught a 7 AM flight to Denver. Our rental car was only $25 for a day. We paid $75 in Sacramento a few months back, so I'm not sure why this one was so much cheaper, but we will take it.
