All in all this was one of the most challenging and important assignment for the fledgling, but pacesetting Ernesto Tours (ET).

It went a bit like this.

    July 31st

John and Sue fly to Verona from Belfast and stay one night at 37 Stradone Porta Palio (the 'mini Jesus')

    August 1st

Ernesto and Maureena (have I mentioned those names ...

Our first stop in Italy involved a love of pizza, a love of gelato and a love story about this broad named Juliet or something. For me, this place became even better second time around. The food was better and the gelato I had last night was made from like, real lemon and mint. It actually felt like I had been licking a lemon for 10 minutes it was so good. This morning we had breakfast at the hotel– it was quite crowded here. I rang Zia
Nanina and then Libera – to touch base about visiting when Josy comes. Then we
bussed into Verona. We had another little look around but mainly wanted to shop
at the Coin dept store again. I bought a couple of little summery tops (yellow
and black and white) as it is hot. I also bought some gift items. Craig bought
    a ...

... outside the city walls in 30 AD, something that blows your mind as you're sitting on the same stone steps. The boys just couldn't comprehend such an amount of time and I must say, it's hard myself. Our seats were to the right of the stage, up in the high stone steps. The scene was breathtaking and as the night got darker, the candlelight lit up the stadium. The photos will never do it justice and on a warm, summer night it was the perfect setting ...
