... several restaurants throughout Portugal. Though it is widely offered on the menu, we were the only people we saw, actually ordering sushi. The rest of the people in the restaurant had Japanese fondu, Kobe steak, and tempura. Coming from California, we are used to having both fresh fish and creative sushi. First stop in Portugal - the beach side town of Lagos! After a big night in Marbella to finish we were a little rough driving to Lagos but the hangover was instantly gone once we arrived in beautiful town of Lagos. Aqua waters, blue skies and very welcoming hosts at the Big Chill hostel was exactly what we needed. We spent the arvo chilling on the oversized bean bags and getting to know our fellow travellers. ...
