This is an older place and in need of many repairs but the price is right and we always have a good time. Rooms are small, think dorm room, with 2 twin beds, a hot plate, toaster and a coffee pot!

Really like this, and Phil has been coming here for 17 years now. People are friendly and rooms are clean, though small with 2 twin beds, a hot plate, a toaster and a coffee pot. The Bull Shed, attached is good eating too.

We flew past Ke'e Beach and the parking lot and ponds we had see yesterday. The we flew on the west side of Hanalei Bay and up a canyon to the Mt. Wai'ale'ale Crater and into the crater where we saw the Weeping Wall. Mt. Wai'ale'ale is one of the wettest places on earth. ...

... seen it all day long. We took our time getting ready to go to breakfast. We decided to go to a place called Eggberts just down the road. It was recommended by someone who wrote in the journal for the condo. We also found a family in the journal from Grove City and Galena, Ohio. Small world!

We got to Eggbert's about 10:00. It was open air covered dining and we shared the space with a couple of pigeons who loved stealing food from the ...

... I managed to snap the nose of Brendan's board not five minutes after I paddled out. This was mental considering I had ridden this board for a month now, got pounded hundreds of times, and never even put a scratch on it...but somehow on this day I managed to snap the nose off. Oops...thankfully nobody had any special attachment to this board, so no one was worried about me snapping it, but i felt bad nonetheless. My bad Brendan...but it was a fabulous day!

... lot of people out surfing and other people just watching.
Melissa and Andy (the couple from Alaska), left today and we have a new couple, Deena and Alex who are from California and now on their way to New Zealand then to Sydney, with no time limit, seeing if there is somewhere they would like to settle. We are enjoying getting to know all these people from different walks of life, with their own interesting stories.

I drove back to Hanalei and went to Kalypso's for lunch. For a change from shrimp, I has the ono and crab wrap and then went to the fruit stand for a banana, papaya, mango and passion fruit smoothie. I headed back to ...
