... Mount Washington. It was all starting to sink in: tomorrow we would embark upon a long, technical climb of 'Ol Washy. On the way back to our mountain cottage, we visited the beautiful Glen Ellis Falls. Pouring more than 600 gallons of water over its edge in just one minute, the powerful falls were quite impressive. ... the way up to the auto route a passing car flashed its light at us and as we rounded the bend there was a moose and her calf standing by the side of the road. I managed to get a couple of photos before they dissapeared into the forest.
