At most cruise lines, "policy" so to speak is vague (though some are more tolerant of requests by long-time and committed couples to cohabitate than others). Basically, it's frowned upon but since no one is around from the line's corporate office to tell crewmembers it's a no-no, it's not a huge deal. So Day 2's luck didnt continue. Basically lost the entire day and didnt end up in downtown until after 5pm. The day started off great even though Jasmine came jumping in the bed waking people up lol. Leaving downtown Del Mar about 10pm, we drove past the race track that was the cause for all the energy tonight looking peacefully dark and dead. We drove past a Denny's and as much as I hated to eat at a plain restaurant for our first night in San Diego, Denny's it was. We ordered "to go" and took it back to the hotel to eat in peace.

... and relax. Erik was the grill master as usual and the Cardiff crack was really, really tasty. I have been avoiding red meat but allowed myself a couple of bites as this stuff melted in your mouth and had an amazing flavor. Husb had cooked in perfectly and he was in heaven.
