      ... out as a road we needed was not marked as we expected. We brought Susan back to swim in the bath water warm pool, only she did not want to swim. We packed and had dinner from the leftovers in the fridge. Ed and I took another walk on the boardwalk by the bay. The clouds blocked the moon tonight.

      ... idea of California and it had taken the whole trip to find it wrapped up on one beach in San Diego.

      ... We headed on toward the Naval Base. We saw these poor guys in full fatigues with heavy looking back packs out running on the sand. They looked exhausted. We went on to the State Beach and watched the waves. It was so pretty out there. Lots of families out there in the sand and water.
