... through London on a Friday at the end of the school holidays! After finally taking 30 min to drive 3 miles via Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus we reached the A4/M4 where there was a moment of clear driving. Our route took us past Heathrow Airport and there we meet 6 lanes of queues (!) until finally exiting off the motorway into the Surry countryside….. 2 1/2 hours later.

... from re supermarket but ended up wondering around a bit in the supermarket since there was so much available that I haven't seen through most of Europe. Things like peanut butter and honeycomb ice cream, and a huge selection of yoghurt. In fact, there was a huge variety of every product you could pretty much think of. ... Donna turned on the news to check the weather report. Why? I don't know it's London we're getting rained on. Well, we get more good news. Today is the official opening of parliament, and Queen Elizabeth was giving a speech to parliament. This would kill us getting around, and screw up any sightseeing planned in central London. OK, now what to do since we obviously lost our invitation to ride with the Queen? How about we just go get into the middle ...

... way. Once we got to the top we had a magnificent view over the walls on the roof of the building. After seeing how high up we were, Shay and Chloé began to have second thoughts about kissing the stone. We noted the sign stating that the Travel Channel listed kissing the Blarney Stone amongst its 99 things to do before you die. We were charged! This is one experience for the bucket list!
