      Today is Monday, its school today. Most of the kids left early, 7.00 am for a prompt start. Four of the children are home schooled, the staff take the opportunity to teach them within their limited attention span. Its quite a challenge for both parties!       You get a lot of cuts, blisters, and bruises working at a construction site that just do not heal no matter how many times I replace the bandages and use Neosporin.       ... garden. He is lucky with the space he has to grow on. Afterwards we went home and went out to dinner with Marloun on his actual birthday, Thai food! It was mostly fantastic except for the mango spring rolls.

      Overall I loved this weekend. I was able to get to know Cagayan de Oro on a more personal level and it took a bit of my heart! Now I am personally more invested in the well being of this awesome and generous city.

      ... House and had bottomless pineapple juice. This was in an area of pineapple farms as far as the eye could see!

      A fun part of the day was that it was the Feast of Saint John the Baptist which meant our Jeepney kept getting splashed by water. Maybe I thought it was fun because I never got soaked liked others in the vehicle!
